Fiumicino is a seaside city on the Tiber River specialized in fish market. The tourist harbor of Fiumicino, which opened in 2010, is part of a project that could transform the city into a point of reference for the Mediterranean area. Thanks to an investment of 400 million Euros, in fact, four main docks are being set up, together with 1,445 berths, a yacht club, a hotel, a conference center, commercial and residential areas as well as 80,000 square meters of green parks. The project will be completed within five years and will rename the harbor ‘Port de la Concorde’.
